#17: Rosemary & Bleu Cheese Hiking Biscuits

    

Hey Team! 

Here’s a fun story about rosemary.  About 15 years ago, I worked on the Stouffer’s/Lean Cuisine account at a small promotions agency. We sold in an instant win game to the Stouffer’s team and I had to validate the prizes, which meant I had to go on a dude ranch vacation in Montana for work. Ridiculous, right? While I was at the dude ranch, I took a horseback riding expedition up through the mountains. I was the last horse in the line and the woman’s horse in front of me kept farting. At one point we rode through a field of rosemary and the woman in front kept saying “don’t you love the smell of fresh rosemary??”  But all I could smell were horse farts! 

Anyway! I was hot to trot to make some savory cookies. I found this recipe on the Internet! 

1 sticka butter

1/2 cuppa Bleu cheese

1/2 cuppa shaved Parmesan 

1/2 cuppa corn starch

1 cup flour

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/4 tsp salt

1 tbsp non-horse-farted rosemary

Mix this jazz up. Roll into a log and chill the log in the fridge for a halfhour.  Slice and bake on 350 for about 15 min. 

We’re gonna try to go to a iced over waterfall today and eat these and then leave. Either that or we’ll just hang out in bed and watch The Emporer’s New Groove on the Netflix.
